About my background I completed a Bachelor's Degree in Primary Education at University of Extremadura. During the third year of my academic training I got a Bancaja's Grant to do an internship at Universidad Autónoma de Baja California in Ensenada, México. I was collaborating in a research project called “Estado de conocimiento del Lenguaje y Educación: México 2001-2011” with Dra. Guadalupe López Bonilla at Instituto de Investigación de Desarrollo Educativo. Moreover, I was the Assistant of Dra. Coral González Barberá in the organization of the workshop “Evaluation of Learning in Basic Education. What, when & how evaluate” at the 1st Iberoamerican Research Forum called “Evaluation in Education”.
The fourth year of my Bachelor's Degree I obtained an Erasmus' Grant to develop my Bachelor's thesis at University of Eastern Finland in Joensuu, Finland. Furthermore, I was a teacher assistant in the following Finnish schools: Nepenmäen Koulu, Karsikon Koulu, Mutalan Koulu. In addition, I completed my academic training at Joensuun Normaalikoulu. I developed my Bachelor's Thesis about the description of innovation processes in education supervised by Andrés Ángel Sáenz Del Castillo Ruiz De Arcaute.
I finished an Official Master Degree in Intervention in Social Psychology at University of Granada and my Master's Thesis was about the role of the motivational orientation regarding sexist attitudes and exposure to sexist humour with proclivity to self-reported rape supervised by Hugo Carretero-Dios and Mónica Romero-Sánchez.
I am developing my PhD’ Thesis with a PhD fellowship from the Government of Catalonia co-funded by the European Social Fundin the Information and Knowledge Society Doctoral Programme at Open University of Catalonia. Last year Iwas a visiting researcher at University of California, Santa Cruz working with Dr. Campbell Leaper. My research is focusing on the transmission of gender roles and stereotypes about males' and females' competences in STEM* subjects in the training programs of pre-service primary and secondary teachers with qualitative and quantitative methodologies and it isunder the supervision of Milagros Sáinz Ibáñez. *Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics
I also did a specific course called " Diversity & Inclusion in the workplace" at ESSEC Business School, France. This course is more related to how implement D&I practices in enterprises and institutions.

Regarding to my personal interests I'm passionate about music, art and feminism. In my free time I play the guitar, write songs and sing them at theatres, festivals and all places. Moreover, I enjoy writing stories, reading, travelling, walking and cycling. The thing that I enjoy the most is learning something new every day.
